Salute her when her birthday comes.

Saturday night we ventured into Mississauga to celebrate our girlfriend Carol's 50th birthay, it was a big party! And lots of fun. Their family and friends are amazing, we had a really good time, lots of laughs, lots of invitations to cottages, and lots of beer for Rick :-) The drive home was a little scarey, slippery roads and I was really tired. Driving slow made for a long trip.

How sweet of you Michele.

Thanks so much for including little
old me in your blog!!
I have had a migrane since Sunday and did nothing for that day, at all.

Yesterday, felt like crap. Took Sierra to Georgetown for her 1st tattoo, three musical notes on her hip!! She has been asking for years and we promised after all her treatments, when the doc okayed it.

When to Mark and Mel's from there to meet for dinner at Kelsey's and back to their place for ice cream
cake with musical notes on it for Sierra's 17th birthday.

Today, pain still here and I am moving slowly, but I just have to start thinking everyone for such a wonderful time and thanks so much for driving out in the rotten weather. What a fantastic gift, you spoiled me and I can't wait to use the gift certificate.

I wish I had more time to talk to you guys and everyone else!! Did you feel like you hardly had a chance to speak to people at your own party?

What a fantastic job John and Sierra did for my party and I think that I am still in SHOCK!!

Love Carol

When I said thinking everyone, you know what I meant!! Thanking all of my family and friends is what I wanted to say!!

By the way Michy, did you see the scrap book that was passed around that my friend Debbie made up for my 50th? I was so touched that she took the time to do that and the good thing was that when Sierra saw it, she decided to make one up for her cousin.

Over the past three weeks she gathered pictured and odds and ends to put together this lovely memory book, from the time they were little girls, till now. She gave it to Sarah yesterday and she loved it. I was so thrilled to see Sierra take an interest in scrapbooking and to see her work on a few pages a day, it took her mind off things and she enjoyed doing it.

Hugs,
Carol
